Howdy,
For those that haven’t yet joined us for an afternoon sail, or for those who’ve seen the boat in various states of dismantlement, here are a few photos of Serenity’s interior. We’ve been living onboard for a couple weeks now, so the pile of clutter is finally starting to settle.

Sup. What’d you bring me? (So far Tack has found every dark corner and claimed it for himself. This includes my tool nook under the v-berth. I had to lay a blanket over my spare part box.)
Heading back from the v-berth, you can see the quarterberth there in the back, where we will allow our inner hoarders to flourish.
Here’s the galley. Notice how it’s on “Harmony’s Side”. I’m going to pay for this later.
Y’all come back now, y’hear? And bring a bird or something next time ’cause I am hella bored.
And that concludes our tour. Our day sails this summer will be slightly more fraught now that we are at risk of sinking our house.
Now that we finally sold our house last month, it’s time to get serious about cruising in a year … which has made all of this a reality, and made us wonder if we’re crazy to think we can coastal cruise on a Catalina 30. I’m so glad to read your posts and be reminded that it’s not crazy. Our main concern is storage … feel free to share any tips and I look forward to more of your posts as you head towards Mexico.
Hello! Congratulations on selling your house. That must be such a huge relief. I’m so happy to hear from other "pocket cruisers" (cruisers on smaller boats). It most definitely is not crazy. It’s a challenge, but with many rewards. I hear you re: storage. I’ll think up some posts on that topic. Anything in particular you’re curious about?
